Gym Session 2/20/25

A quick recap of my gym session on 02/20/25

Another day, another gym sesh at Mesa. I felt decently strong, but my climbing did not quite reflect that, it was a high gravity day. I started the session off by some warming up the shoulder and stretching. I then did;

-One arm hangs, 3 reps per side
-Hanging leg raises, toes to bar, 3 reps till failure
-Weighted pullups, 50lbs, 4 sets of 3 reps.

I sent a v6 that I had not been able to send before. The start move on the v6 felt very insecure and I fell on it many times. I really had to just trust the right heel would stay on. I couldn’t quite tell the difference between my positioning when it would slip vs stay on, there was no warning if it was going to blow. Ultimately though, I got the send.

I also sequenced out a few v7’s, so I am hoping to come back fresh and tick off some more send. I really hope to begin progressing into the 8-9 territory. I am hoping that comes with the strength gains.
